• Research at FAZ since 1991
• 1996-2002 training in Pneumonology at Wilhelminenspital, Vienna
• 1997-1998 Research at Johns Hopkins University, Baltimore, USA
• 2002 associate professor in Pneumonology
• till 2010: Pneumonologist at Wilhelminenspital (head oft he sleep laboratory, the allergy- and asthma outpatient clinic as well as the outpatient clinic for cystic fibrosis)
• since 2011 head of Floridsdorf Allergy Center

• Member of ÖGAI (Austrian society for Allergy & Immunology), ÖGP (Austrian society for Pneumology), fellow of the AAAAI (American Academy of Allergy, Asthma & Immunology), ERS (European Respiratory Society)
• 2003-2006 member of the administrative board of ÖGAI
• 2000 – 2011 secretary of Pirquetclub of ÖGAI
• since 2008: head of the allergologic task force of ÖGP
